Director - Senior Director [Litigation Communications]
TLG is seeking a Director or Senior Director for our Litigation Communications practice in Washington, D.C. This position offers a skilled and enthusiastic professional the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and detail-driven practice with clients who look to our team to navigate the most complex and sensitive issues.
Responsibilities
- Executing the day-to-day work of a dynamic team with clients who expect proven excellence from TLG, including deeply informed analysis and detailed, nimble planning and execution.
- Demonstrating acumen and experience to meaningfully contribute to a global litigation support practice for a range of blue-chip clients across industries and sectors.
- Preparing communications and litigation support materials for bespoke multi-stakeholder engagement – including audiences who may be unfamiliar with the nuances and complexities of key issues – in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintaining a current familiarity with key issue areas and audiences.
- Managing multi-faceted projects with rigorous attention to detail and deadlines.
- Mentoring colleagues and contributing to the management of teams in a thriving, enthusiastic culture.
Qualifications
Applicants should have demonstrated success in professional environments that demand and reward excellence. This role requires superb writing and presentation skills, along with a sophisticated knowledge of the stakeholder landscape to be able to distill complex issues and ideas to a wide range of audiences. We are seeking individuals who have a strong desire to contribute to a dynamic, growing professional services firm that invests in its people. Experience working in highly technical and sensitive legal environments, including serving as a practicing lawyer or having previous legal training, is useful, but not essential.
Exceptional judgment, integrity, and collegiality are required, and a great sense of humor is critical. A bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years of previous experience in business, government, an agency, or a professional services firm are preferred.

The starting salary for the Director role is $125,000 per year. The starting salary for the Senior Director role is $155,000 per year.
